- Not sure where you guys rank Metro Browser, but the drop down menus worked for me on WalMart.com. You touch and hold the menu for.5 sec, then the drop down appears which allows you select the subcategory. Only issue is that if you zoomed in enough to not see the whole menu when it pops up, trying to scroll around will cause the submenu to go away.
- Drop-down list a standard drop-down list, with a fixed set of predetermined values. When closed, only the selected item is visible. When users click the drop-down button, all the options become visible. To change the value, users open the list and click another value. In this example, the list is in its normal state.
- This time though the popup menu should still be visible on the screen. To capture the drop-down menu, click at the corner of where you want to capture your image, then hold down the mouse button while you move to a new position, drawing a rectangle around the part of.
- There appears to be every other kind of drop-down menu-those that allow user input, those for integers only, those that don't.drop down, and even those that have ugly check boxes next to them. I just want a simple drop-down menu (like you'd see if I used in html) that lets the user choose exactly ONE item. (and one's chosen by default) Any.
Right-click on an empty portion near the top of the window, such as that shown in the image below, and select Menu bar from the drop-down menu. Windows Media Player. Right-click on an empty portion of the section shown in the image below and select Show menu bar from the drop-down menu.
Hi Jeff,
Thank you for being part of Windows 10.
System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. If a Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.
Perform SFC(System file Checker) scan and see if it helps.
a: Press Windows key + X.
b: Select Command Prompt(Admin).
c: Type SFC / scannow and hit enter.
Do get back to us for any issues pertaining to Windows in the future. We will be happy to help.

None of the suggestions work. Not only do the drop menus not stay active but when using Alt+Tab to change open apps the apps won't stay on top unless your cursor is actually over the window and you tap the window. Otherwise the previous active window stays on top.

Not sure if this will work for everyone, but based on suggestions from others who had similar issues with Windows 7, I unplugged my wireless mouse from the USB port and then plugged it back in. So far, so good.
Wish I would have seen the wireless mouse message two days ago. Spent hours trying to fix this problem using the posted suggestions and (for me, at least) the actual solution took 10 seconds.

After spending hours reading and trying all sorts of technical suggestions, I finally resigned and tried MManion's suggestion. Surprisingly, unglugging the wireless mouse and re-plugged got everything back to normal immediately. No restart needed! Literally 10 secs. Thanks MManion.

Tried this. CMD takes forever to load then does not allow me to type anything in it. Why do we have to be the beta testing group for Microsoft? All of this started when the Anniversary edition was downloaded. Wouldn't it be nice if nothing was downloaded until it was tested completely! Please fix these issues because Apple is looking better and better.

In Microsoft Edge on Windows 10, when I tap on drop down menus, they won't remain for long. For example, in eBay when, I tap on my eBay drop down, it is shown only for few seconds and goes away very quickly.

ok I found the problem , its because the websites I tested are not fully compatible with windows tablet mode in windows 10 using Microsoft edge , so , eventually they are going to update themselves and this problem wont occur again , I tried with some other websites like Microsoft itself and intel and dropdowns was just fine ,
